Hurricane Laura Relief

Early in the morning on Thursday, August 27, 2020, one of the most powerful hurricanes to make landfall in the U.S. swept through Lake Charles, LA. As power lines and debris line the streets of Southwest Louisiana, the people and students of Our Lady of Good Counsel stand strong.

Now, more than ever, the Church will be present to serve and provide the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to those who are in need. With buildings damaged, lives changed, and hearts broken, the mission remains the same.

Please consider making a gift to aid in hurricane recovery to help cover insurance deductibles, operating fees, and materials needed to serve the community. Be assured of our prayers for you and your families.

Donations will be dedicated to addressing unmet needs of our diocese as a result of Hurricane Laura, as well as other needs of the diocese that are not eligible for assistance through state and Federal disaster relief programs.
